… in the 12-minute epilogue included in the LOST season 6 and series DVD set. it was leaked on youtube but was pulled out immediately. for those who weren’t able to catch it and for those who can’t possibly wait for the aug. 24 release, here are some spoilers:
1. On Hurley’s orders, Ben shuts…
“We struggled super hard trying to come up with an album title, trying to find some kind of phrase that summed up the whole aesthetic behind the album: ‘Heavy Mental,’ ‘Smaller Than Life,’” Cuomo says. “I was coming up with all kinds of stuff, but ultimately, we just went with some random word that doesn’t really have anything to do with anything. I just loved this photo of Jorge Garcia — it just had this amazing vibe. We didn’t want to do a fourth self-titled record and we knew people would refer to it as ‘the Hurley record’ even if left it without that title, so we just called it ‘Hurley.’ No words are on the cover because all we wanted was his amazing face.”
Unfortunately for ‘Lost’ fanatics, the album doesn’t feature any songs inspired by the hit show. In fact, Cuomo didn’t even watch it until meeting Garcia (he’s still watching the series, so don’t spoil the finale for him). “I only made it through season two, so I was really nervous hanging out with Hurley/Jorge recently, because I didn’t want to hear something about how it all resolves, or overhear anyone else talking about it,” he says. “I really like the show though.”
‘Hurley’ is due out Sept. 14 via Epitaph Records.

Lost Leak of the Day: The much-anticipated twelve-minute Lost epilogue, “The New Man In Charge,” has arrived online.
Some questions answered, others remain, new ones are formed, you know the drill.
Also: Spoiler alert.
One Last Glimpse of LOST - The season 6 DVD, out Aug. 24, offers an original, 12-minute vignette called “The New Man in Charge,” a tantalizing look at what Hurley (Jorge Garcia) and Ben (Michael Emerson, left) do as the new island overseers. “Ben is going around to Dharma installations and closing some down,” Emerson says. “There are some good surprises.” And yes, “it does answer some questions.”

Have you all been following along with Knowing LOST? The great drMikey made this as part of the KL project.
Knowing LOST is a collaborative effort by a group of fans of the ABC television show LOST. Knowing LOST is a fan fiction in every sense of the word, and will center on the fan community and its many different aspects. It tells the story of Kevin and Ryan, two friends and LOST fans who find that they’ve crashed on the island with all the other survivors. Knowing everything that happened on the show, how will they interact with everyone? Will they try to interfere and change things?
There may not be any new LOST episodes on television, but every week there will be a new episode of Knowing LOST.
Head to the site to read the first six episodes and see more work by drMikey. Now that it’s on the site, I can announce it here as well: episode 7 will be posted Sunday, and it was written by yours truly.
“Toy Story 3” was great, and wrapped up the characters’ journeys in a believable way. However, I can see how the finale would be polarizing, considering all of the unanswered questions. We waited fifteen years for answers to the mysteries of the series, and not all of them were answered to my…
